When selecting persons to be part of our team we look for people who are passionate about excellence in service delivery.
Our team members are dedicated to making their clients happy and are flexible and extremely patient. Our team members treat all of our clients just like they were our own mothers and fathers or family members. Let us assume the task of finding a reliable, trustworthy caregiver matched to your loved ones personality. We strive to limit the number of caregivers in your home to a maximum of two. One person would serve as your regular caregiver and the other would be a back up who is familiar with your routine. Always ensuring that visits are conducted according to scheduled times and dates is as important to us as it is to you.
Our caregivers are all professionally screened, have obtained professional credentials, have clear criminal record checks, are CPR and first aid qualified, and are up to date on TB tests and vaccinations. Blue Sky Personal Support Workers encourages ongoing training and education. Our employees update qualifications and are eager to enhance their skills so that the service they deliver is leading edge and in line with best practice policies.

My name is Donna. In 1976 I graduated from the Canadore College Nursing Program. I absolutely love what I am doing and I adore the clients I work with for Blue Sky Personal Support Workers.
I worked outside of nursing for a couple of years but I soon returned when I realized just how much I missed the feeling of fulfillment I receive when I am working directly with people, especially seniors. I like the fact that I get to work with the same people on a regular basis.
Blue Sky Personal Support Workers always makes an effort to keep the same workers with the same clients. I am able to build a rapport with my clients and get to know their preferences and routines. This makes my job very easy and it also makes it easy for the people I visit. They can relax and carry on with their routines without worry or stress.

Hi my name is Lisa. When I completed my Personal Support Worker course at Canadore College, I knew I wanted to work with people in the community. I enjoy offering support to my clients that want to remain independent and continue living in their homes. It is wonderful knowing that my assistance not only helps them but that it also enables their families to spend more quality time with their loved ones. This is made possible since Blue Sky PSWs offers many services including but not limited to bathing, dressing, and housekeeping. Lending support to my clients makes my work extremely rewarding.

Hi my name is Tiffany. I graduated from CTS Canadian Career College in 2013. I have been a PSW for 5 years, although I took some time off to go back to school. I decided to come back to work as a PSW as that is what I love. I have years of work experience working with the elderly and the physical disabled. I enjoy getting to know my clients and working with them, and I strive for the best care possible. I like to create a positive environment, and enjoy working with the same clients as I get to know them on a personal level. In my downtime I am a busy mom of 2 children, and I enjoy being outdoors and spending time with my family.
Danielle is a graduate from the PSW program at CTS Canadian Career College but is currently working on her certificate in the Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy Assistant Program at Canadore College. On her spare time she enjoys volunteering with the North Bay Youth Soccer Club and of course, spending time with her daughter and family.
I graduated from the Personal Support Worker Program at CTS Canadian Career College in 2014. I have worked in the long term care setting as well as home care. Throughout the years I have come to realize that I truly enjoy working with clients in the community.
Outside of work I spend most of my time with my family.
I have worked in health care for 25 years as a Registered Practical Nurse. Primarily, I worked in mental health, both at the North Bay Psychiatric Hospital and in the community, supporting persons with severe and persistent disorders.
Shortly after retiring, I realized that I was missing daily interaction with clients and opted to re-enter the workforce as a personal support worker. I strive to treat each and every person with dignity and respect and my goal is to provide quality and empathetic care at all times.
In my spare time, I am devoted to my three children, my grandchildren as well as my extended family and friends. I truly enjoy spending time in my garden, in my kitchen and in my books.
