Always ensuring that visits are conducted according to scheduled times and dates is as important to us as it is to you.
Our caregivers are all professionally screened, have obtained professional credentials, have clear criminal record checks, are CPR and first aid qualified, and are up to date on TB tests and vaccinations, Blue Sky Personal Support Workers encourages ongoing training and education. Our employees update qualifications and are eager to enhance their skills so that the service they deliver is leading edge and in line with best practice policies.

My name is Donna. In 1976 I graduated from the Canadore College Nursing Program. I absolutely love what I am doing and I adore the clients I work with for Blue Sky Personal Support Workers.
I worked outside of nursing for a couple of years but I soon returned when I realized just how much I missed the feeling of fulfillment I receive when I am working directly with people, especially seniors. I like the fact that I get to work with the same people on a regular basis.
Blue Sky Personal Support Workers always makes an effort to keep the same workers with the same clients. I am able to build a rapport with my clients and get to know their preferences and routines. This makes my job very easy and it also makes it easy for the people I visit. They can relax and carry on with their routines without worry or stress.

Hi my name is Melissa. I have lived in North Bay for about 5 years now, and taking this career path has been one of the best decisions I have made. Back when I was a student and taking the PSW course, I decided to go with Blue Sky PSW's for my placement and I am very happy I did. With their wide range of services to meet many different needs for their clients and a wonderful team that I got to learn from, made me realize that working in the community was exactly what I wanted to do.
I am very happy I get to help people on a daily basis in the comfort of their own homes where you really get to know your clients and who they are. It is a rewarding feeling to know you made a difference to someone's life or even just their day. On my downtime I am a busy mom, an avid hiker/camper in the summer, enjoy baking, and quiet nights with family and Netflix.
Hi my name is Lisa. When I completed my Personal Support Worker course at Canadore College, I knew I wanted to work with people in the community. This is made possible since Blue Sky PSWs offers many services including but not limited to bathing, dressing, and housekeeping. Lending support to my clients makes my work extremely rewarding.

I enjoy being a PSW as I like spending time with clients, helping them with their daily routines or just talking with them. At the end of the day, I find it fulfilling and rewarding that I've helped someone - it puts a smile on my face. Whether it's a smile, a thank you, a hug, or a handshake from a client, it brightens my day and it reminds me of why a became a PSW. Working at Blue Sky PSW's is a great place to be. My pastimes are my grandchildren, biking, hiking, reading, cooking, and spending time with family.
