When selecting persons to be part of our team we look for people who are passionate about excellence in service delivery.
Our team members are dedicated to making their clients happy and are flexible and extremely patient. Our team members treat all of our clients just like they were our own mothers and fathers or family members. Let us assume the task of finding a reliable, trustworthy caregiver matched to your loved ones personality. We strive to limit the number of caregivers in your home to a maximum of two. One person would serve as your regular caregiver and the other would be a back up who is familiar with your routine. Always ensuring that visits are conducted according to scheduled times and dates is as important to us as it is to you.
Our caregivers are all professionally screened, have obtained professional credentials, have clear criminal record checks, are CPR and first aid qualified, and are up to date on TB tests and vaccinations. Blue Sky Personal Support Workers encourages ongoing training and education. Our employees update qualifications and are eager to enhance their skills so that the service they deliver is leading edge and in line with best practice policies.

Born and raised in North Bay, I love being part of the Blue Sky Region community. I have always had a passion for helping others. Being the owner of Blue Sky Personal Support Workers and the Manager of Client Services I take pride in ensuring that all of our clients are 100% satisfied. When I began operation of Blue Sky Personal Support Workers in 2008 I was able to utilize my many years of experience and training in finance and administration, customer service, and personnel management in the day to day operations of the business.
Becoming certified as a Personal Support Worker has enhanced my practical skills in preparation for delivering top quality home care services. I seek out only the most qualified compassionate, caring employees to become part of my team.

Being Commanding Officer of two local units in the past, was an honour and a pleasure. I have been a member of the 406 Squadron Royal Canadian Air Force Alliance for over 10 years. Every year we make donations to various local charities.
I promise to work very hard for you when you become part of our client network. I will ensure that everyone receiving care from Blue Sky Personal Support Workers is truly satisfied with the level of care they are receiving and do what it takes to make things right if they aren't 100% satisfied.
My name is Donna. In 1976 I graduated from the Canadore College Nursing Program. I absolutely love what I am doing and I adore the clients I work with for Blue Sky Personal Support Workers.
I worked outside of nursing for a couple of years but I soon returned when I realized just how much I missed the feeling of fulfillment I receive when I am working directly with people, especially seniors. I like the fact that I get to work with the same people on a regular basis.
Blue Sky Personal Support Workers always makes an effort to keep the same workers with the same clients. I am able to build a rapport with my clients and get to know their preferences and routines. This makes my job very easy and it also makes it easy for the people I visit. They can relax and carry on with their routines without worry or stress.
My name is Murielle, I have 30 years experience working as a PSW in a nursing home and now work with Blue Sky Personal Support Workers. I always treat seniors as though they were a part of my family. I absolutely love my job.
I love going to work everyday and get a lot of satisfaction from knowing that in some small I was able to brighten the day of our clients. I believe in all the years I have worked as a PSW, I helped many people with their physical, social and spiritual needs. I love helping people and I take great pride in always trying my best and providing the best service I can as a professional PSW.
Hi, I am Shannon and I am a graduate from the Registered Practical Nursing Program at Canadore College. I have been dedicated to caring for seniors for over 10 years and my work experience extends from a long term care setting to community support. Fluent in French as well as English, I enjoy working one on one with clients to ensure all their needs are met.
That being said, recently I have been working in the office as the Administrator covering a maternal leave but have also been promoted to the Manager of Client Services position.
Away from work I spend much of my time with my family and close friends in our new country home.
I graduated from the Personal Support Worker Program at CTS Canadian Career College in 2014. My work experience extends from Long Term Care to community care. I feel as though working in the community allows more one on one time with each client.
Outside of work I spend most of my time with my family.
I have worked in health care for 25 years as a Registered Practical Nurse. Primarily, I worked in mental health, both at the North Bay Psychiatric Hospital and in the community, supporting persons with severe and persistent disorders.
Shortly after retiring, I realized that I was missing daily interaction with clients and opted to re-enter the workforce as a personal support worker. I strive to treat each and every person with dignity and respect and my goal is to provide quality and empathetic care at all times.
In my spare time, I am devoted to my three children, my grandchildren as well as my extended family and friends. I truly enjoy spending time in my garden, in my kitchen and in my books.
Hi, I am Marygold. I am a competent and dedicated internationally educated health care professional. I would say that I am a hardworking individual that has gained many skills over the course of several years working in healthcare. I have worked in a hospital setting, retirement home setting and more recently within the community. I feel as though I work well with others and on my own. I look forward to continuing to grow with the team at Blue Sky PSWs.
In my time of leisure, I like to travel to various places of different scenery and activities with my loves ones. My future goals are to continue in the health care field by moving forward into a nursing role.
